Welcome to
The Supreme Council of the AASR Switzerland
The Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite (AASR) is the
world's most widespread masonic high degrees
jurisdiction. It operates in more than sixty countries
in national independent organisations which are all
directed by a Supreme Council.
The AASR appoints as members Freemasons who have been
raised as Master Masons after having completed the
entered apprentice and fellow-craft degrees in regular
lodges. In the following degrees, it is more deeply
concerned with Masonic ideals of humanity and tolerance.
Master Masons from lodges in the Grand Lodge Alpina
of Switzerland (GLAS) are invited into the AASR of
Switzerland, which has the legal form of an association.
