Principles
Freemasonry is an open temple for the sense of duty,
high-minded thinking and the honest aspirations of
mankind. It fosters intellectual development and
civilisation and serves as a teaching structure which
enables Freemasons, with the help of symbols and degrees
of recognition, to work on their personal development
and towards a better world.
The AASR works
- Under the auspices of the Grand Architect of the
Universe
- In accordance with Masonic tradition and
- With respect for the "Universal Declaration of
Human Rights", adopted on 10 December 1948 by the
General Assembly of the United Nations.
The AASR is a school of mutual education in the form
of rituals and the exchange of ideas. Each Brother works
on his own intelectual development, so as to be able to
act as a role model.
The personal goal is
- To conduct his life with dignity, good sense,
fraternal love and in harmony, and
- To affirm his own view of the world and of his
fellow men.
As a general objective the members of the AASR aspire
to
- A world where all people live in freedom,
dignity and mutual tolerance.
The AASR does not interfere in political and
religious disputes, but expects its members to
participate in civic life.
